as the earilear we bought the costly mobile which are based on android jellybean or android lolipop the company used to give updates for some as we buy the mobile after some time the company will stop the updates and forgot the model of the mobile so we cant use the new features of android. the main thing about security updates as the company stops the security patches our device can is not secure it contain vulnerable etc.
how the android updates work:
if we take the example of android pie. the google will reveal its source code of its android pie. the manufacturers like qualcom, mediatek, exinous. will update the source code and they will reveal the source code of all updated drivers and gpu etc to the brand. now the brand like samsung, xaiomi, htc, apple. will customise their UI or skin as sutiable to the update.after all this process the android will be tested and again it sent to google for testing after all this process done the google will give the updates to devices.this process takes more and more time. for avoiding the delay the google announces it project known as projec treable
what is project treable:
the project treable is launched with android oreo. which is unboxed with android oreo by deafult the project treable is avaible in that devices.t this projects is came to avoid the delay of updates. in this process the manufacturer them self update the source code which is given by google and develop their skin as its suitable to the update.so the delay by the chipset manufacturers of 3 to 4 months delay will be stoped. and the cost of the updates aslo reduced. At the end brand will decide to give update or not. the brand will give the upadte to selected devices.
