RDP

the remote desktop protocol(RDP) is the technology which is developed by Microsoft. the rdp technology is is used connect the different computer to together and they can access the data of each other even the other computer is very far away. with rdp the connected computer can share their files and they use pheripherals of each computer.
the rdp runs on client and server networks.

USES of RDP:

                               the rdp is used as follows
  • we can use the processor speed of other computer if our computer processor speed is low
  • we can use pheripherals of each computers
  • we can use the internet of one computer
  • we can use rdp on android also

How the remote desktop protocol works

The RDP protocol is designed to provide remote access through port 3389. An RDP-enabled application or service packages the data that is to be transmitted, and the Microsoft Communications Service directs the data to an RDP channel. From there, the operating system encrypts the RDP data and adds it to a frame so that it can be transmitted.

The Terminal Server Device Redirector Driver handles all RDP protocol activity. This driver is made up of subcomponents such as the RDP driver (Wdtshare.sys), which handles user interfaces, transfers, encryption, compression and framing. The transport driver (Tdtcp.sys) is responsible for packaging the protocol in such a way that allows it to be sent across a tcp network.

the hackers use the RDP technology for:
  • to become anonymous
  • to get high speed internet from other countries
  • to stole the files of many companies
these all works only when the hacker knows the details of the computer of the other computer or victims computer. then only the process will work.

Microsoft says suspected Russian hackers viewed source code||Hackers 2021

  Microsoft Corp. said the suspected Russian hackers behind the stunning breach of numerous U.S. government agencies also accessed the company’s internal source code, although no customer data or services were compromised. “We detected unusual activity with a small number of internal accounts and upon review, we discovered one account had been used to view source code in a number of source code repositories," Microsoft said Thursday in a blog post that updated its continuing investigation of the attack. “The account did not have permissions to modify any code or engineering systems and our investigation further confirmed no changes were made."
